This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit roosterclubs.com, purchase store credit/gift cards we sell on behalf of partner merchants, or participate in promotional offers with conditional rebates (e.g., “free if [team] wins”). This Policy also covers merchant partners who onboard to receive payouts.

We do not share your personal information with sportsbooks or betting platforms. Event outcomes used for promotions come from public sources; any hedging we perform is separate from customer identity.


1) What we collect

Identifiers & contact info. Name, email, phone, billing/shipping address.
Account info. Passwords, preferences, purchase history, saved payment tokens (via our payment processor).
Transaction data. Purchased amounts (e.g., store credit value), order IDs, timestamps, promo/offer IDs and rules, refunds/chargebacks.
Payment info. Card details are processed by our PCI-compliant payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
Device/usage data. IP address, approximate location (city/state), device identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, cookies or similar tech.
Communications. Emails, support chats, surveys, SMS (if you opt in).
Merchant partner/KYC info (B2B). For connected merchants we may collect owner/officer contact info, payout details (e.g., bank last-4 via payment provider), tax forms (e.g., W-9), and limited compliance attestations.

Sensitive information. We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information from consumers. Payment/KYC providers may process limited sensitive data for identity or tax purposes.


2) How we use information

We use personal information to:

Provide the service. Take and settle payments; issue store credit; fulfill conditional rebates/refunds; provide receipts and support.
Operate promotions. Enroll eligible purchases; stamp each order with offer ID, rules, and caps; notify customers of outcomes.
Prevent fraud & secure. Detect and prevent fraud/abuse; manage returns and duplicate redemptions; enforce limits.
Improve & analyze. Understand usage, improve UX/features; measure marketing performance.
Comply with law. Recordkeeping, accounting, tax, and lawful requests.
Marketing (optional). Send product updates or promotions if you opt in; you can unsubscribe anytime.


3) How we disclose information

We disclose personal information to:

Service providers/processors. Payment processing (e.g., Stripe), payouts to merchants, cloud hosting, email/SMS, analytics/fraud—bound by contract to use data only to provide services to us.
Partner merchants. To fulfill/store credit and handle redemptions (e.g., sharing a token or card number associated with your purchase). We do not share your full payment card details.
Affiliates/advisors. For internal operations, auditing, financing, or legal advice.
Legal/Compliance. To comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.
Business transfers. In a merger, financing, or sale of assets, data may transfer under this Policy.


Selling/Sharing for targeted ads. We do not sell personal information. We may “share” limited identifiers and device data with advertising/analytics partners for cross-context behavioral advertising (as defined by certain U.S. state laws). You can opt out via our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and cookie controls (see Section 7).We do not disclose personal information to sportsbooks or betting operators.


4) Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember settings, combat fraud, and measure performance.

Essential (security/checkout) – required for the site to function.
Analytics/performance – to understand usage (e.g., page views, conversion).
Advertising – to show/measure ads (optional; you may opt out).



Global Privacy Control (GPC). Where required, if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of “sharing” for targeted ads.


5) Your privacy rights (U.S. state laws)

Depending on your state (e.g., CA, VA, CO, CT, UT), you may have rights to:

Know/Access the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold.
Delete personal information (subject to legal/operational exceptions).
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Limit use of sensitive personal information (we generally don’t use SPI for consumer users).
Non-discrimination for exercising rights.


How to exercise:
Email privacy@roosterclubs.com.. We will verify your request (we may need to confirm your email and recent transaction details). You may use an authorized agent as allowed by law.

Appeals (CO/CT/VA):
If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision email; we’ll review and respond within the required timeframe.


6) Financial incentives notice (California)

Some offers may provide monetary or other benefits (e.g., conditional rebate/“free if [team] wins” promotions). Participation is voluntary and you can opt out anytime by not making a promotional purchase or by contacting us.

Categories of data involved: contact info, transaction details, device data for offer eligibility/fraud control.
How we value the data: reasonable, good-faith estimate based on the expected value of the incentive (e.g., discount/refund probability), our operational costs, and anticipated revenue from promotional activity.
How to opt out: do not participate in the promo or contact privacy@roosterclubs.com; opting out does not affect your ability to use the site.



7) Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes above:

Transactions & refunds: typically 7 years (accounting/tax).
Support communications: up to 3 years after last interaction.
Marketing preferences: until you opt out or after a period of inactivity.
Analytics logs/cookies: typically 12–26 months, then aggregated or deleted.We may retain data longer where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce agreements.



8) Security

We employ administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information (e.g., HTTPS/TLS in transit; encryption at rest for stored tokens; least-privilege access; audit logs; fraud monitoring). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.


9) Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for U.S. adults 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us and we will delete it.


10) Geographic scope

We currently operate in the United States. If you access the services from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.


11) State-specific disclosures (California)

Categories collected (CPRA): Identifiers; customer records; commercial information; internet/usage data; geolocation (city/state); inferences (preferences); for merchants only, limited professional/license/tax identifiers.
Sources: You, your devices, our processors, partner merchants.
Purposes & disclosures: As described in Sections 2–3.
Selling/Sharing: We do not sell personal information. We may “share” limited identifiers for cross-context advertising; opt out via our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link and cookie controls.
Sensitive information: Not used to infer characteristics; not sold or shared.


12) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version with an updated Effective date and, if changes are material, provide additional notice as required.
